The Soghri field is located in Jand District, Punjab Province. The scope of work for this project involves the installation of 40 MMscfd Gas Sweetening Amine Plant and allied utilities at Dakhni Plant. The projected product yield upon completion is 15 MMscfd per day of gas and will be enhanced to 30 MMscfd upon completion of additional wells. The Amine plant has been shifted at Soghri site. Procurement of additional equipment is in progress. Hiring the services of PC Contractor for installation of plant in progress.
This project will enhance Dakhni Plant capacity Gas Sweetening capacity from 40 MMscfd to 80 MMscfd. The new unit will process Soghri Gas & the Old Plant will process Gas from Jand and Dakhni.
The improvement in Utility System by Power Turbine and Refrigeration Package installation is nearing completion.
The Uch gas field is located about 67 kms south east of Dera Bugti in Balochistan province. OGDCL adopted a development plan under which production at the Uch gas field is to be increased up to 160 MMscfd per day of gas through UCH-II Development Project. This project involves installation of a gas gathering facility, gas sweetening plant, dehydration plant, allied utilities and gas delivery Station. GSA with UPL has been signed.
OGDCL started supplying dehydrated gas to Uch Power Ltd since Feb 2014. The UCH II project was partially commissioned and specification gas is being supplied to UPL as per demand since Feb 2015 from one amine unit through an interim scheme.
PROJECT COMPLETED. Overall project completion achieved on 12 JAN 2017 with the commissioning of Hot Oil System, Amine and Dehydration. System normalization in process.
Jhal Magsi gas field is located in District Jhal Magsi Baluchistan, and is a joint venture among OGDCL (56%), POL (24%), GHPL (20%), with OGDCL serving as the operator. The development project involves installation of dehydration/compression/ H2S removal plant to produce 15 MMscfd pipeline quality sales gas.
The project activities are on-hold due to delay in laying of sales gas line by SSGCL
Nashpa-Mela fields are located in Karak & Kohat Districts of KPK province. OGDCL is the operator of these fields while other JV partners include Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and GHPL. Development of both the projects is under implementation phase. As per development plan, a centralized gas processing & LPG plant will be installed at Nashpa field. The crude stabilization and gas compressor will be installed at Mela. The gas of Mela will also be transported to Nashpa for extraction of LPG.
The contract has been signed on EPCC basis with M/s Hong Kong Hui Hua design/ supply/ installation and commissioning of Gas Processing & LPG Recovery Plants, Sales Gas Compressors and Allied Facilities at Nashpa Field. The expected incremental Production upon the completion from Nashpa & Mela will be: Gas: 10 MMscfd, Condensate: 1120 bbls/day and 370 Mton/Day of LPG.
KPD-TAY Plant is located adjacent to Company’s existing Kunnar LPG plant in Sindh Province and about 25 Kilometers from Hyderabad City. OGDCL has completed the Early Production Facilities (Project Phase-I) and at present OGDCL is producing 1100 BPD of Oil and 100 MMSCFD gas without LPG/NGL extraction.
OGDCL plans to develop KPD-TAY Integrated (Project Phase-II) by installing Wellhead facilities and Flow lines for 29 wells, 25 Kilometer long Trunk Line (Dia 12”), gas gathering system, Dehydration plant, Amine plant, LPG Plants, Hot Oil system, Power Generation, Sale Gas/ Wellhead Compression, Sale Gas Metering, and Allied Utilities to process 250 MMSCFD raw gas. The production upon the completion of project is Gas 225 MMCFD, LPG 410 M.Tons/day and Oil 5100 BOPD.
The major part of project was awarded to M/S Shangdong Kerui on EPCC basis and remaining supplies & works was awarded to five (05) PC Contractors. All the contractors have completed the project activities in their scope.
PROJECT COMPLETED. Supply of On Spec Gas to SSGCL started from 01.09.2016, LPG production started on 14.12.2016. System normalization in process to achieve full capacity production.
