Mr. Farrukh Saghir

Mr. Farrukh Saghir is a business and technical leader working as Executive Director, Exploration. He has extensive oil and gas upstream industry experience, recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for business solutions, as well as for creating innovative exploration, development, and operations programs in the most complex and challenging geological and operational settings. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to several multi-billion-dollar upstream projects in North America, South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Europe.

He holds a proven and verifiable track record of contributing to company expansion and growth through quality delivery. Professional achievements include leading technology innovation, portfolio management, business strategies, new business development, acquisitions, divestments, front-end development, geosciences excellence, sourcing, stakeholder relationships, technical program implementation, contracting and procurement strategies, quality decision, risk management, and HSE for upstream business.

He has been delivering superior administration in the latter areas of expertise which require the utilization of effective technical, commercial, organizational, communications, and resource management skills to drive performance and efficiency in order to achieve maximum returns on capital deployed.

Mr. Farrukh has a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Karachi University, Pakistan, and a Master’s degree in Project Management from Curtin University, Perth Australia.
