Ms. Shazia Talat

Ms. Shazia Talat is currently serving as the General Manager (Prospect Generation). She holds a Master's degree in Geophysics from the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad in 1989 and joined OGDCL in 1992 as a Trainee Geophysicist. She has played a key role in the Exploration Department. Having contributed significantly to two seismic data acquisition crews and the data processing center, she transitioned to the Prospect Generation Department in 1994, marking the beginning of a distinguished career.
Ms. Shazia has demonstrated versatility and a deep understanding of diverse Geological Basins in Pakistan. Her contribution in numerous field discoveries in the Lower Indus Basin showcases her expertise and commitment to geophysics.

Currently she is overseeing all the activities related to OGDCL's Exploration Licences, Ms. Shazia's leadership and comprehensive understanding of exploration dynamics contribute crucially to OGDCL's success in exploration endeavors. She stands out as a dedicated professional, making significant contributions to the success and growth of OGDCL.
