Mr. Ahsan Ali Shaikh

Mr. Ahsan Ali Shaikh assumed the charge of the Production Directorate in April 2025, in addition to serving as AGM (Production). He began his career at OGDCL as an Assistant Engineer (Production) in May 1993 after earning a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

Mr. Shaikh is a seasoned and results-driven petroleum engineer with over 32 years of diverse experience in production operations and field management across the Northern and Southern regions. He has expertise in well testing, completions, coil tubing, nitrogen kickoffs, stimulations, strategic planning, budgeting, and field development.

His proficiency in technical and management skills has significantly enriched the company. He currently leads a dedicated production optimization group focused on enhancing OGDCL’s production through advanced technological solutions.
Mr. Shaikh is a member of PEC and SPE. His extensive experience, continuous learning, leadership, and proactive approach to employing advanced technologies positioned him a valuable asset to Company and driving force behind strategic initiatives.
