Mr. Iftikhar Ahmad

Mr. Iftekhar Ahmed is a veteran Project Management and Engineering professional currently serving as General Manager (Projects). He brings 35 years of experience across the Oil & Gas and Fertilizer industries. A Chemical Engineer by qualification, he graduated from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, and has brought a unique blend of operational and technical expertise to OGDCL’s strategic project portfolio.

For over two decades, Mr. Ahmed has played a pivotal role in driving OGDCL’s high-impact, capital-intensive projects as a Program and Project Manager. Leveraging his early experience in fertilizer plant operations, he has successfully led the execution of several landmark initiatives, including the Qadirpur Expansion, Qadirpur Secondary Expansion, UCH-II Development, Dakhni Expansion, and compression projects at UCH, Dakhni, and Maru-Reti. Most recently, he has been at the forefront of the Jhal Magsi Development Project.

Since June 2024, he has been overseeing a portfolio of ten ongoing projects. Known for his strategic oversight, technical acumen, and leadership in complex project environments, Mr. Ahmed continues to contribute significantly to OGDCL’s infrastructure growth and operational excellence.
