Mr. Khurram Shiraz

Mr. Khurram Shiraz is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) having diversified experience of working in large scale listed and unlisted companies in Oil & Gas, Power, and Telecom sectors organizations. He started his career from PwC which is one the largest international professional services firms wherein he was involved in providing external audit and consultancy services. He has worked as Joint Director Enforcement & Monitoring in Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Thereafter, he joined the Attock Oil Group of companies and worked in various leadership roles including Head of Audit, CFO, and Company Secretary. His last assignment was with PTCL group wherein he worked as Head of Audit and Head of Strategy & Transformation before joining OGDCL.

His history of success comprises over 25 years in audit, risk management, governance, financial management, business planning, transformation, M&A, financial accounting and reporting. He has worked with the Board and CEOs of these companies for development and implementation of long term strategy and transformation programs resulting in significant increase in shareholders’ value. His contributions have been acknowledged by the Board Audit Committees’ for successful restructuring of internal audit in accordance with global standards and best practices. He has directed process reviews and measurable KPIs for performance measurement, optimizing service delivery timelines, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction. Further he has led various M&A transactions including due diligence, valuation, shareholder negotiations etc.
