Syed Ejaz Abbas Rizvi

Syed Ejaz Abbas Rizvi is a seasoned supply chain professional with over three decades of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Quaid-e-Azam University and a Master’s in Computer Science – Software Engineering from SZABIST.
Currently serving as General Manager (Supply Chain Management) at OGDCL, Mr. Rizvi oversees end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations, covering the acquisition of equipment, materials, and services for exploration, drilling, and production.
A strategic thinker and collaborative leader, he has spearheaded key technological initiatives, including the successful implementation of the SAP-Ariba module, significantly enhancing transparency, efficiency, and compliance in procurement processes.
He has played a pivotal role in executing major EPCC projects and has led the negotiation of long-term service and supply agreements with renowned multinational partners.
Mr. Rizvi also pioneered Pakistan’s first public-sector-wide CIPS-UK Corporate Learning Program, aimed at building procurement capacity within OGDCL.
