OGDCL Launches Countrywide Tree Plantation Drive

OGDCL has launched a nationwide tree plantation drive as part of its green initiatives, prioritizing afforestation at its field locations and regional offices.

In the campaign's first phase, 1,017 mango trees and 200 date palms were planted at the company’s Regional Office in Multan. Looking ahead, plans are in place to extend the initiative to OGDCL’s Dhodak and Kot Addu sites, where 100 acres have been designated for plantation.

Highlighting the company's commitment to environmental sustainability, MD/CEO Ahmed Hayat Lak visited the Multan office to support and promote the drive. This initiative is in line with OGDCL’s broader corporate social responsibility objectives, contributing to Pakistan’s green cover and playing a proactive role in combating climate change.
