Pakistan Registers A Strong Presence At ADIPEC

Pakistan, through its country  pavilion, registered a strong presence at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), one of the most influential energy sector events held from 7th -10thNovember  2016 at  National Exhibition Centre , Abu Dhabi. A delegation from OGDCL comprising of Mr. Zahid Muzaffar, Advisor Ministry of Petroleum and Chairman, OGDCL Board, Mr. Zahid Mir, MD/CEO, OGDCL, Mr. Masood Nabi, Executive Director (Joint Venture), Ms. Shabina Anjum, General Manager (Corporate Affairs/External Communication) and Mr. Sikander Sheikh, Manager (External Communication) participated in the mega event. A grand Pakistan Pavilion was set up. The theme of the Pakistan Pavilion was ‘Pakistan-A Land of Emerging Opportunities’.

Being the flagship of Pakistan’s E&P sector, OGDCL featured prominently at ADIPEC. The Pakistan Pavilion was very well attended and appreciated by the delegates including geoscientists and petroleum engineers belonging to international oil and gas industry and academia. A large number of vendors also visited the stall and were attended to by the various E&P companies. Participating in ADIPEC was a first for OGDCL and was a huge success. It also created awareness among the business community regarding OGDCL’s pivotal role in Pakistan’s economy. The event was an excellent platform for sharing knowledge, experience and innovation related to the energy sector.
