OGDCL Pioneers Female Representation in Field Positions

OGDCL became the first Exploration and Production (E&P) company in the country to deploy female officers to field positions. This move is a significant step in the company’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The action plan includes the placement of three female officers at the Dakhni Plant, with a mandatory rotation of two females at a time on a 14-day shift basis. The deployment will initially last for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of an extension to six months.

MD OGDCL Ahmed Hayat Lak and other top management of the company hosted a session titled "Placement of Female Officers at Field" to discuss the opportunities and support available for female employees. The session underscored the company's commitment to facilitating career advancement and inclusion. OGDCL is committed to providing equal opportunities and fostering an inclusive work environment, reflecting its belief in the competence and potential of its female workforce.
