OGDCL has inaugurated its latest generation of Geological and Geophysical (G&G) acquisition systems, reflecting a major advancement in the Company’s commitment to innovation, safety, and operational excellence.

As a pioneer in digital seismic data acquisition in Pakistan since 1971, OGDCL continues to lead with cutting-edge technology. The newly acquired seismic system from M/s Sercel, France, offers autonomous recording, enhanced quality control, and over 200,000 channel capacity enabling high-resolution data capture in complex environments.

OGDCL has also introduced advanced Mud Logging Units from M/s CTEC, China, featuring AI-powered anomaly detection, reliable gas monitoring, and real-time data transfer for improved drilling accuracy and situational awareness.

Additionally, new Wireline units from M/s Baker Hughes, USA, support advanced logging tools for both open and cased hole operations, ensuring superior data quality and reliability.

These upgrades significantly enhance OGDCL’s exploration capabilities and reinforce its leadership in deploying state-of-the-art technologies for efficient and precise hydrocarbon discovery.
