OGDC Mother and Child Healthcare Centre Khewari Earns EDGE Advanced Preliminary Certificate

The OGDC Mother and Child Healthcare Centre Khewari in Khairpur, Sindh developed in collaboration with the Human Development Foundation (HDF) has been awarded the EDGE Advanced Preliminary Certificate by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBC). Mr. Shahzad Safdar, Executive Director HR, accepted the award on behalf of OGDC at the Pakistan Green Building Conference 2025 in Karachi, organized by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The facility achieved 73% energy savings, 28% water savings, and a 51% reduction in embodied carbon well above the global EDGE benchmark of 20%.
