Online Training Initiative with IHRDC
OGDCL, in collaboration with the International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC), has successfully licensed 200 employees across various departments as part of its commitment to professional development. This initiative provides access to over 1,500 world-class e-learning courses tailored to the oil and gas industry.
Key areas covered include Upstream Petroleum Technology, Petroleum Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, HSE, Mechanical and Electrical Systems, Instrumentation & Control, Business Management, Data Analytics, Finance & Accounts, Project Management, and Clean Energy & Sustainability.
The platform features interactive modules, Virtual Mentored Learning (VML), and microlearning content, offering a structured learning pathway aligned with global industry standards. This initiative strengthens OGDCL’s focus on workforce capability building, equipping employees with the skills and knowledge to excel while driving innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence across the organization.
Online Training Initiative with Coursera and HEC
OGTI, in partnership with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), has launched an innovative online training initiative through Coursera.org as part of the Digital Learning & Skill Enrichment Opportunity. This program provided 60 licenses to our employees, enabling them to pursue online certifications from over 275 leading universities and industry partners worldwide. Through this facility, our officers have gained valuable knowledge and skills by earning certifications from prestigious global institutions, thereby enhancing their professional competencies and contributing to OGDCL's overall success.
