Internship Program for Empowering Youth
OGTI (Oil & Gas Training Institute) conducts a range of internship programs annually, designed to equip young professionals with essential industry experience and practical exposure across Pakistan. Each year, OGTI runs key programs for enabling youth: 4-week unpaid internship program, the 6-month paid Baikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program (BNIP), and one-year paid Employees Children Internship Program. These internships are instrumental in helping youth across the country develop their professional skills, as interns are placed in various locations nationwide, gaining hands-on experience in real-world settings.
In the fiscal year 2023-24, OGTI accommodated 850 interns in the 4-week unpaid internship program, which operates annually from July to June. The Baikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program (BNIP), which runs from September to August each year, supported 145 interns, providing them with financial backing while enhancing their capabilities. Additionally, the one-year Employees Children Internship Program, held from January to December annually, hosted 59 interns, offering them extended exposure and comprehensive experience in their respective fields. These well-structured programs underscore Company’s ongoing commitment to empowering the next generation of professionals in the energy sector across Pakistan.
