7 Mandates of Leadership Training

OGTI conducted a transformative training session titled "7 Mandates of Leadership," led by Sohail Zandani. This program was designed specifically for GMs and Managers, focusing on essential leadership skills required to drive organizational success and foster effective leadership. Participants delved into key mandates such as responsibility over authority, selling the vision, solving complex problems, driving change, practicing empathy, serving as cultural custodians, and leading through enrollment. These leadership principles are integral to cultivating a dynamic and forward-thinking leadership culture within OGDCL.

Lead with Emotional Intelligence

OGTI recently conducted an insightful session on "Lead with Emotional Intelligence," led by Umair Jaliawala, aimed at Managers and Chiefs. This session was designed to help participants develop and leverage emotional intelligence, enhancing their leadership effectiveness and fostering a positive work environment. The program covered foundational aspects such as the difference between intelligence and emotional quotients, brain biology, and the concept of emotional hijacking. Participants also explored self-awareness, including understanding and managing emotions, building self-confidence, and navigating the complex landscape of human emotions. The training further delved into self-management strategies, focusing on personal values, trustworthiness, and creating a balanced regime for mind, body, and soul.

OGTI hosted a workshop on the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People," conducted by Mariam Wazirzada, Managing Partner at FranklinCovey, Pakistan. This transformative session was designed for Junior Officers (EG-II to EG-IV) and focused on developing essential habits for personal and professional effectiveness. The learning agenda covered key principles such as being proactive, beginning with the end in mind, prioritizing tasks, thinking win-win, seeking to understand before being understood, synergizing, and continuously improving oneself. This workshop provided participants with practical tools to enhance their leadership and productivity, setting a strong foundation for their future growth within OGDCL.
