Vision, Mission, and Values (VMV) Workshop
OGTI conducted a specialized workshop focused on the Analysis of Current Vision, Mission, and Values (VMV), led by Dr. Syed Zahoor Hassan, Professor Emeritus at the Suleman Dawood School of Business. This workshop was designed for top management and aimed at revisiting the organization's aspirations and assessing the current business situation. Participants engaged in a detailed SWOT analysis using both traditional and new approaches to refine and revise the organization's VMV. This strategic session is a crucial step in aligning OGDCL's future direction and will be extended to different tiers within the organization in the near future.
Workshop on Developing Leadership Potential Through Self Analysis Future Growth Spaces for OGDCL – The Next Decade
The workshop on Developing Leadership Potential Through Self Analysis and exploring Future Growth Spaces for OGDCL over the next decade is a comprehensive program focused on fostering an innovation mindset and preparing leaders for organizational transformation. The program emphasizes the need for strategic product reimagination, challenging existing business models, and integrating digital strategies for future success. Participants engage in activities like social construction for foresight development, the Polak Game, and LEGO Serious Play to build future scenarios and cultivate leadership for transformation. This program, made in collaboration with IBA, is designed to equip OGDCL leaders with the skills to navigate and lead through digital evolution and data-driven decision-making in the coming decade.
Environment Social and Governance:
The top leadership of the Company has undergone comprehensive training on key aspects of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). This includes individual training sessions on Decoding Sustainability Standards, ESG & Ecolabels, and ESG Leadership: A Pathway to Business Sustainability. A customized workshop was also conducted, focusing on the relevance of ESG in the oil and gas sector and best practices for effective ESG governance. Company now plans to extend ESG Risk Management training to field locations ensuring a company-wide understanding and implementation of ESG principles. In addition, Company is also planning to hold training sessions on Renewable Energy
Feedback Mastery – Nurturing & Building High-Performance Teams
This program was meticulously designed for General Managers, Managers, and Field Managers who are responsible for delivering performance feedback and conducting appraisals. The objective was to equip these leaders with the essential skills needed to communicate effectively and foster growth within their teams through constructive feedback. The program emphasized promoting a feedback culture, encouraging an environment where feedback is a regular and valued part of the organizational culture, leading to continuous learning and improvement. It introduced advanced techniques, ensuring that feedback is impactful and drives positive change, and focused on adapting feedback strategies to fit different situations and individuals, making the feedback more relevant and effective. Additionally, the program provided strategies and tools to handle difficult conversations with confidence and empathy, ensuring that even tough messages are delivered in a way that motivates and supports growth.
Serving With Compassion Workshop
OGTI conducted a customized learning session titled "Serving With Compassion," led by Sohail Zandani, specifically designed for the Medical Service Department. This workshop focused on enhancing patient care through compassionate service, aiming to foster a supportive and empathetic healthcare environment. The learning agenda covered key areas such as understanding compassion in healthcare, developing empathy and emotional intelligence, effective communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and self-care for healthcare providers. Participants were equipped with strategies to integrate compassion into their daily practice, ensuring that patient care is delivered with empathy and understanding. Program will be extended to other departments in near future.
