OGDCL gifted Pakistan’s First Mobile Eye Operation Theatre Units to Al-Shifa Trust Hospital

OGDCL has gifted three state-of-the-art Mobile Eye Operation Theatre Units to Al-Shifa Trust Hospital, enhancing access to critical eye care in underserved regions. This pioneering project aligns with SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being) and demonstrates OGDCL’s commitment to innovative healthcare solutions. 

 

OGDCL Established 35 free eye camps across the country

OGDCL, in collaboration with Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, has established 35 free Surgical Eye Camps across the country to provide essential eye care services to underprivileged communities residing in and around Company’s area of operation. These camps offered a comprehensive support, including free consultations, cataract surgeries, eye lenses, laboratory tests, medicines, and eyeglasses.

 

OGDCL Partners with Human Development Foundation (HDF) to Establish Healthcare Facility in Khairpur

OGDCL, in partnership with the Human Development Foundation (HDF), is establishing the first EDGE-compliant Women and Children Healthcare Centre in Union Council Khewari, Tehsil Nara, District Khairpur, Sindh The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at OGDCL’s Head Office in Islamabad by MD/CEO OGDCL, Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak, and CEO HDF, Ms. Samman Islam. This collaboration, part of OGDCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, underscores the Company’s dedication to fostering positive social change in underserved communities.

 

OGDCL partner with Cancer Care Hospital & Research Center

OGDCL provided High Capacity Radiation Treatment Machine to cancer care hospital.  The Cancer Care Hospital will establish 45 free mammography camps including ultrasounds, targeting 3,000 women in OGDCL's operational areas and providing lifelong free treatment for detected cancer patients.

 

OGDCL signed MoU with Indus Hospital 

OGDCL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indus Hospital to set up a dedicated Mother & Child healthcare facility in Jhal Magsi. This collaboration aims to provide specialized maternal and child health services to the local community, reinforcing OGDCL's commitment to improving healthcare access in remote areas.

 

OGDCL distributed 100 ambulances

OGDCL distributed 100 ambulances, dedicating  six mobile health units to local communities residing around its operational areas, ensuring efficient and quality healthcare facility at door step of community.  

 

OGDCL Established Burn Unit

In a significant move to improve healthcare infrastructure, OGDCL has established a state-of-the-art burn unit in District Kohlu. This facility aims to provide specialized treatment and care to burn victims in the region.
